About

Connecticut United Ways use their local presence to build stronger, more resilient and more equitable communities where everyone can thrive. We work to improve the health, education and economic mobility of every person in every community we serve.

That is why, in Connecticut, ALICE is powered by our 14 local Connecticut United Ways and coordinated statewide by United Way of Connecticut. We engage people and organizations throughout our communities (like schools, government agencies, businesses, policymakers, organized labor, health care and social service providers, financial institutions, voluntary and neighborhood associations, the religious community, and more) who bring passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done and to secure economic equity for ALICE households in our state.
